Michigan’s MENA Delegation meets with H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah

The Michigan MENA Delegation had the honor of meeting with H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, at his palace. We discussed opportunities for the emirate to collaborate with the state of Michigan. Wayne County highlighted critical port opportunities and trade partnerships, while Oakland and Washtenaw counties emphasized their key roles in statewide and national foreign direct investment and education, respectively.

Chairman of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce Ahmad Chebbani, expressed what an honor it was for the delegation to be hosted by the Ruler—a proud University of Michigan graduate—as a testament to Michigan’s leadership and global partnerships.
